Gilgamesh – Performance Storytelling

Over 3,500 years after this ancient Sumerian epic was first etched into clay tablets, world renowned storyteller Ben Haggarty, and multi-instrumentalist Jonah Brody, bring Gilgamesh to the stage in an extraordinary and powerful telling of one of the oldest stories in the world.

Puffling Percy

Percy is a puffling who loves his burrow a little too much. Map & Pap want him to venture outside and flap his wings, but Percy has other ideas. What the puffling doesn’t realise, however, is that his entire flock are about to migrate south for the winter. If he doesn’t learn to fly, he will be left behind and his life will be in mortal danger!

It is a heartbreaking and comedic exploration of abandonment and loss, using music, puppetry… and rubber rings.

Devising Theatre Workshop – 8 week Mini Course

The Wardrobe Theatre and Front Room are offering an amazing opportunity to take part in a free 8 week Devising Theatre Workshop taking place this Autumn. Over the course of 8 weeks you will be given advice, mentorship and training by experienced industry professionals as you explore the processes of devising an original piece of theatre. The course will begin on Sept 7th and run each Sunday until finishing with a sharing on Oct 26th.
