Join us for a work-in-progress sharing of TechnoDeath—a theatre show exploring the weird and wonderful world of grief in the digital age. It features scam emails from long-dead relatives, graveyards of Facebook profiles unable to be deactivated, Canva templates for a funeral Order of Service, and the question of when is best to remove your dead Nan from your WhatsApp group chat.

Last month, I received an email from my Nan. She asked if I was well, told me she was thinking of the family, and mentioned briefly about some money troubles she was having. I was concerned, because it’s unlike her to email–particularly as she’s been dead for three years. But it’s okay, she only needs me to invest in a new digital currency that’s about to take the world by storm, and then she’ll have the money to visit me. I hope she doesn’t bring her coffin with her.

Great to have this venue in Weston super Mare! On the site of the old pizza express, this theatre has fully accessible facilities and refreshments available on site. We saw a brilliant family show put on by Kid Carpet and the Noisy Animals. Fantastic!

A wonderful evening of great company and entertainment, great bar selection of local IPA ales and further drinks. Would highly recommend a visit if you can, a highly talented young crew 👍
