Our First Tour! Yara in the Wild Wood Heads ventures into festivals and theatres.

We’re heading out on the road!

Yara in the Wild Wood, our enchanting in-house show for ages 3+, is going on tour this August! This marks the very first time we’ve taken one of our Front Room creations out on a full tour – and we’re beyond excited to share it with new audiences across the country.

Tour dates include:
🌿 Moor Imagination Centre (MIC), Buckfastleigh – Saturday 2nd August
🌿 Green Man Festival, Little Folk Area – 14th–17th August
🌿 Between the Trees Festival, Sylvania Area – 21st–24th August
🌿 The Wardrobe Theatre, Bristol (October half term) – 25th–28th October

At Front Room, making shows is at the heart of what we do. It’s a passion that drives us and we believe Weston-super-Mare deserves to be known as a place where brilliant theatre is born. Touring Yara is a step toward that vision.

Yara in the Wild Wood is a gentle, non-verbal tale of courage, connection, and learning to care. It features a life-sized dog puppet (crafted by the amazing Marc Parrett), original music, and beautiful visual storytelling that speaks to all ages and languages.

We chose Yara as our first touring piece because, well, we know what makes a great family show. We’ve hosted plenty at Front Room! And now it’s our turn to add to that landscape – taking a bit of Weston with us into woods, festivals, and theatres near and far.

So if you’ve got little ones – or are just a fan of beautiful, thoughtful theatre – come and find us on the road. And if you’re local, don’t worry: Yara will be back soon.
