Join multi-award-winning Theatre and Puppetry Designer Sam Wilde for a full-day workshop on Sunday 14th September (10am-3pm), and discover the art of cardboard puppetry!

Sam’s credits include:

The Nutcracker – Polka Theatre (Olivier Award Nominee 2025)

I Want My Hat Back Trilogy – Little Angel Theatre (Offie award winner 2023)

Sam is the Artistic Director of CardboardAdventures.co.uk, winner of the 2023 TYA: Design Off West End Award, and a finalist for TYA: Writer of the Year. He also appeared as the winner of the Paper episode of Kirstie’s Handmade Christmas (Channel 4, 2022) and was named in The Stage 100 for 2020/21.

Whether you’re an emerging artist or simply curious to explore puppetry as a creative form, this workshop is the perfect place to start.

Great to have this venue in Weston super Mare! On the site of the old pizza express, this theatre has fully accessible facilities and refreshments available on site. We saw a brilliant family show put on by Kid Carpet and the Noisy Animals. Fantastic!

Fantastic production of the shaggy dog tails!

A wonderful evening of great company and entertainment, great bar selection of local IPA ales and further drinks. Would highly recommend a visit if you can, a highly talented young crew 👍
