In this 3 hour workshop, Jess will guide you through audition technique – from prep to performance. Covering topics such as picking the right piece, how to manage nerves and what you need to know before going in the room to best prepare yourself. In a supportive environment, we’ll recreate an audition room. Jess will give feedback and encouragement to help best prepare you for the real thing. We’ll explore and discuss drama school and acting work auditions, contacting agents and finding your USP. We’ll be working together with monologues you bring to create the most confident version of yourself.
Jess grew up in Weston Super Mare and started her Acting career by joining a theatre company in Weston when she was 7. She then went on to train at the Bristol School of Acting before moving to Manchester to study Acting at The Manchester School of Theatre. Since graduating, Jess has debuted two new plays in London, Directed a play in Manchester with a sold out run and rave reviews, and works with charities within Manchester to deliver interactive educational workshops.
