At Front Room, we believe that theatre, creativity and community should be for everyone.

That’s why we’ve never wanted cost to be the reason someone misses out. It’s why we programme everything from new theatre and live music to comedy, workshops, life drawing, family events and community projects. It’s why we work with local artists, schools, care homes, community groups and charities. And it’s why we continue to offer affordable ticket prices and Pay What You Can performances wherever possible.

Today we’re launching something new that will help us continue doing exactly that: our donations page.

Every donation, whether it’s £5, £10 or £50, helps us invest directly back into our community.

Your support helps us to:

• Keep ticket prices affordable.
• Subsidise workshops and creative opportunities.
• Support local artists and emerging talent.
• Provide accessible performances and inclusive experiences.
• Offer volunteering opportunities and community programmes.
• Invest in new productions and ambitious creative projects.
• Continue building a cultural home that belongs to everyone.

As an independent theatre, we don’t have large commercial backing. Much of what we do is made possible through a combination of ticket sales, grants, volunteers and the generosity of people who believe that communities deserve places where they can gather, create and be inspired.

The impact of that support reaches far beyond our walls.

We’ve been humbled by the hundreds of comments we’ve received from people who have found friendship, confidence, creativity and belonging here. Whether someone discovers a new passion, performs on stage for the first time, make new friends, connect over a shared life experience, laugh their head off, learn something new or simply find an evening where they feel welcome, it all matters.
