Front Room is delighted to welcome exciting Dutch artist Roni Dot to Weston as part of her UK tour.
TAKE A BIG MIXING BOWL. – Mix 2 cups of pensive thoughts with 1 cup of beat that-makes-you-wanna-dance. Add a handful of synths and samples, 1⁄2 cup of vocal layers and stir well.
Take 1-2 stylish theatrical icons (Kate Bush could work well), throw them in the mix. Season with a pinch of Depeche-mode darkness.
Serve warm. – BON APETIT!
Roni Dot’s NEW Duo show keeps an intimate and cinematic atmosphere with live-looped layers, while not compromising an electronic beat; mixing songs from her last released albums and two surprising covers like you’ve never heard them!
Performed live in the well-known Dutch Oerol fest, Tellerlikker festival, Pop week Den Haag, Live Im grunen, Mit Sinnen fest, Rosa Laub, StraMu and Altonale festival in Germany,
Singles from her last album were featured twice in popular “new music Friday” playlist; air played on radios in Germany, Israel and Australia; premiered on the Dutch “Maxazine” music platform, mentioned on “3voor12 Den Haag”, “Space sour UK” music blog, “De Muziekplank” and more.
