Max & Veronica are acclaimed interpreters of early American roots music, blending ragtime, country blues and early jazz and hillbilly music sounds with contemporary energy and infectious humour.

Guitarist Max De Bernardi, a fingerpicking master, and singer Veronica Sbergia, an award-winning entertainer, bring a mix of musical skill, warmth and playful banter that turns every concert into a joyful, interactive experience.

Winners of the European Blues Challenge 2013, they’ve toured across Europe and played top festivals such as Notodden Blues Festival, Lugano Blues To Bop Lucerne Blues Festival and Edinburgh Jazz & Blues, Shetland Folk Festival, Gate to Southwell Folk Festival and many more.

Max and Veronica’s natural on-stage chemistry, quick wit, and playful banter draw the audience in and make every show feel personal and unique. They blend powerful musicianship with light-hearted storytelling, creating a joyful atmosphere that mirrors the spirit of early blues and roots music.
