This flamboyant nightclub-cum-bordello writhing with tassels\, tits and tuberculosis is the number one pleasure-spot where every vivacious Victorian with a taste for the unrestrained wants to be this Christmas Eve. Everyone\, that is\, except stuffy old Ebby Scrooge – a greedy\, hateful miser who detests merriment. But when some spooky ghosts push his buttons\, can-can Scrooge find love and learn the true meaning of a jolly winter festival before his soul is doomed forever? \nThis Christmas\, The Wardrobe Theatre (makers of Notting Hell\, The Good\, The Bad & The Coyote Ugly\, MDH: Puppets Do A Movie and many more) and Front Room Theatre (Weston-super-Mare’s award-winning fringe venue in their 4th year of producing their own hugely popular original comedy Christmas shows) have joined forces to present a mash-up musical to put the hum in your humbug. Moulin Scrooge is a fast\, smart and adult-only new comedy that promises to be your best Christmas show night out – past\, present or yet to come! \n“An inventive and endlessly entertaining show.”\n★★★★★ The Fix \n“Rendering the audience weak with laughter.”\nBristol 24/7 \n“A quasi jukebox musical that hits you right in the Dickens!”\n★★★★ Stage Talk Magazine \n“Be prepared for your sides to ache for days afterwards.”\n★★★★★ Bristol Post on Oedipuss In Boots by The Wardrobe Theatre \n“A supercharged helping of festive filth.“\n★★★★ The Observer on Drac & Jill by The Wardrobe Theatre

SUMMARY:Moulin Scrooge
DESCRIPTION:Glitz! Showgirls! A giant\, gaudy elephant!

SUMMARY:Muddles Mess Up!
DESCRIPTION:Muddles was not always this way. Once\, he was an ordinary man — another face in the crowd\, stuck in the monotony of a 9-to-5 existence. Day after day\, routine replaced purpose\, until one morning he woke to find himself transformed… not just in appearance\, but in spirit. Now trapped in the body of a sorrowful Pierrot clown\, Muddles drifts through life unable to speak\, expressing everything he cannot say through song. \nHe does not change. He does not learn.\nHe simply… is. \nMuddles Mess Up! is a darkly comic\, musically driven theatre experience built around a silent Pierrot clown who expresses himself entirely through song and physicality. The act draws inspiration from the US sensation Puddles Pity Party\, blending powerful\, emotional vocals with a deeply unusual and compelling stage presence. \nAt its core\, the show presents a loose\, non-linear journey through melancholy\, bitterness\, nostalgia\, and absurdity — all delivered through unexpected musical choices and physical comedy. \nDespite the sadness at its core\, the performance consistently undercuts itself with humour\, audience interaction\, and moments of unexpected warmth. \n\n\n\nEvent Details\nDoors Open at 7:00PM\nFrom 7:30PM to 10:00PM

SUMMARY:Un|Earthed
DESCRIPTION:When storyteller\, Inez Aponte\, first began to search for her Surinamese grandmother’s lineage 20 years ago\, she met a dead end. The woman whose culture she had inherited was a mere footnote in her family tree – Of Non-White Descent. Only when the Dutch slave registers were made available online in 2018 was she able to trace her ancestors back to the plantations where they were enslaved. \nIn her new one-woman show Un|Earthed\, Inez follows a fragile thread back in time to meet the mothers\, grandmothers and great grandmothers that carried her family to safety and freedom. Seamlessly combining biographical accounts with reworkings of Surinamese folklore\, she creates a new map of home\, rootedness and belonging. \nIn this magical realist landscape animals shapeshift into human form\, unborn children speak from their mothers’ womb\, and the wise advice of old crones offers salvation. \n\n\nEvent Details\nDoors Open at 7:00PM\nFrom 7:30PM to 9:15PM

SUMMARY:They Fell to Earth (A Flight Log)
DESCRIPTION:The Greeks understood a timeless truth: a powerful person’s belief in their superiority often marks the beginning of their downfall. \nThey Fell to Earth {A Flight Log} immerses the audience in an experience that shatters the ordinary\, with visceral movement\, surreal poetic imagery\, slapstick humour\, and live vocal looping. This transformative journey takes you from a mundane world of discarded rubbish to an\nillusory realm of flight. \nStunned in the aftermath of their fall\, this Icarus duo yearns for redemption as they reconstruct their ‘falling story’. The stage\, designed with a DIY aesthetic\, transforms into a garage—latent with possibilities. Through discarded items such as a plank\, hook lamps\, a rope… they reclaim the memories embedded in their bodies. \nWho witnessed their fall—the sky\, the sea\, the sun? They tap into fragmented memories\, emotions\, and sensations\, unknowingly summoning spectres to negotiate a deal. Will they soar once more\, or will they crash down again? Can they resist the heady intoxication of hubris? \nDust Ensemble\, based in Cleeve\, North Somerset\, creates physical theatre that taps into the spectres of our contemporary world. \n\n\nEvent Details\nDoors Open at 7:00PM\nFrom 7:30PM to 9:00PM

SUMMARY:MAL DE MER (SEASICK)
DESCRIPTION:‘There are three sorts of people; those who are alive\, those who are dead\, and those who are at sea.’ – Aristotle\n‘Si tu vas pas a la mer\, tu gagnes rien.’ (If you don’t go to sea\, you’ll get nothing) – Numerous fishermen in Marseille/Carro\, 2025Christian is a fisherman within touching distance of retirement; as the sun rises a mile off the coast of Marseille\, he and his son-in-law haul in another disappointing catch. Unbeknownst to them\, a storm of epic proportions is brewing on the horizon. \nJeanne\, Caitlin\, Aurora and Solene are four theatre-makers in search of a story. \nIn an explosive\, revelatory hour that blurs the boundary between documentary and fiction\, they recount the story that swam into their net; a whirlwind contemporary Odyssey about fish\, family and the end of the world. Ancient monsters rise from the depths to meet the absurdities of late capitalism; oral tradition confronts ecological collapse; generations clash and cultures collide. \nOn stage\, the four actors merge field recordings\, live music and soundscaping\, along with the native tongues of their four respective nationalities. It’s performed in French\, English and Norwegian with subtitles. \nFunny\, poetic and physical\, this is a story about when to hold on and how to let go in an ever-sinking world. \nAbout the company\nCompagnie FRÈRES was founded in 2024 by 5 young female artists from France\, Italy\, Norway\, Ireland and the UK\, who met at l’école Internationale de théâtre Jacques Lecoq. \nTheir shows stem from fieldwork and pose questions about what it means to live in the world today. In every show\, they ask; comment vivre ensemble (how do we live together?) \nThey often find themselves playing men and exploring traditionally male-dominated worlds (hence the name). This is either an accident or an unavoidable Freudian fixation. \n\n\n\nEvent Details\nDoors Open at 7:00PM\nFrom 7:30PM to 9:15PM
