DESCRIPTION:Life drawing with a difference… furry and fluffy models who love nothing more than a good scratch and tasty treat! \nIf you love drawing and dogs this may be your idea evening. The evening is self-directed by artist Tracy Wride – she will introduce the dogs and host the event. You can choose the dog you want to draw and you can move around so everyone gets to draw each dog. Some will sleep\, some will up be for introducing themselves. The fun for the artists is capturing each dog’s personality. \nExpect to meet a variety of models\, each with their own unique shape\, size and personality! Each class will showcase a multitude\nof hairy beasts\, all with a welcoming wag and wet nose. There is a break midway through so you can grab a drink and have a stretch. Especially if you’re someone who’s spent years holding everyone else together\, whether that’s family\, friends\, or a business built on giving to others. \nJenny unpacks what becomes possible when your nervous system is finally allowed to receive support instead of just providing it to others. Speaking from experience most coaches don’t have: Jenny’s unrecognised ADHD burned her out so badly she ended up in a wheelchair with ME/CFS for a lot of her 20s. Pomme will take the group through a series of creative tasks\, games and processes that explore both storytelling and stories\, and help you make a traditional story your own. \nPomme has distilled her long practise as a performance storyteller into the idea of ’24 Story Seeds’ – narrative seeds that exist inside traditional stories that guide the teller and help shape performance. The seeds range from genre to rhythm\, structure to sound\, dialogue to character. The ’24 Story Seeds’ are there inside all stories – just waiting for storytellers to find them! Pomme will explore some of the seeds with you\, using: writing; telling; improvisation; visualisation; movement; drawing; gesture; memory; sound; listening; discussion and sharing.
