A simple\, powerful moving meditation that anyone – of any age\, size\, or physical ability – can practise. Lightly guided\, there are no steps to follow\, no choreography to learn\, no way to do it wrong. The only requirement is a body that is still breathing\, a heart that is still beating\, and mind that is still curious! \nCreated by Gabrielle Roth and practiced by tens of thousands worldwide\, 5Rhythms is a philosophy\, perspective\, performance art and a dynamic movement practice rooted in the principle that if you put the psyche in motion it will heal itself. Movement is both the medicine and the metaphor\, reaching across all languages\, cultures and age groups to transform suffering into art\, art into awareness\, and awareness into action. Wherever the 5Rhythms are practiced\, a community is born to dance\, to sweat\, to change\, to support\, and to provide a safe space for each of us to shatter the ego’s hold and awaken the juicy\, unpredictable\, fascinating\, edge-walking\, rock star part of ourselves that yearns to be free. \nCreativity. DESCRIPTION:After last year’s spellbinding performance\, Front Room are thrilled to welcome back Songdog. Don’t miss out this time around! \nSongdog are a trio centred around Welsh songwriter Lyndon Morgans. He is joined by longstanding fellow Songdog regular Karl ‘Pod’ Woodward\, who provides keyboard and the distinctive Mellotron sound that peppers the latest album\, plus new violinist Bethan Frieze. \n‘Mirabilia Mundi’ was released in 2025 on Junkyard Songs and is the current album from Songdog. Over the course of the record’s ten songs Lyndon continues his exploration of favourite themes: time passing and the struggle to make sense of a disappearing world; a foreboding of things ending and a looking back at long-lost glory days. There are nods to the earliest Songdog albums woven throughout for those who know them. There’s a new producer\, too\, Al Steele (also known as guitarist with The Korgis). \nPrevious albums include 2022’s ‘Of Gods And Men’ (which came out under Lyndon’s own name)\, ’A Happy Ending\, ‘Joy Street’\, ‘Last Orders at Harry’s Bar’\, ‘A Life Eroding’\, ‘A Wretched Sinner’s Song’\, ‘The Time Of Summer Lightning’\, ‘Haiku’ and ‘The Way Of The World’ and were released to\ngreat reviews from the likes of Uncut\, Mojo\, The Mirror\, Maverick\, RnR and Americana UK amongst others.
