A simple\, powerful moving meditation that anyone – of any age\, size\, or physical ability – can practise. Lightly guided\, there are no steps to follow\, no choreography to learn\, no way to do it wrong. The only requirement is a body that is still breathing\, a heart that is still beating\, and mind that is still curious! \nCreated by Gabrielle Roth and practiced by tens of thousands worldwide\, 5Rhythms is a philosophy\, perspective\, performance art and a dynamic movement practice rooted in the principle that if you put the psyche in motion it will heal itself. Movement is both the medicine and the metaphor\, reaching across all languages\, cultures and age groups to transform suffering into art\, art into awareness\, and awareness into action. Wherever the 5Rhythms are practiced\, a community is born to dance\, to sweat\, to change\, to support\, and to provide a safe space for each of us to shatter the ego’s hold and awaken the juicy\, unpredictable\, fascinating\, edge-walking\, rock star part of ourselves that yearns to be free. \nCreativity. DESCRIPTION:Join us for an acoustic afternoon with 4 local acts performing for your aural pleasure! \nNaked Without It have just completed their 3rd album of upbeat Urban Folk songs which will be released in the Autumn. FATEA magazine described the duo as “entertainment of the highest value”. NWI guitarist Martin Kennedy is a current touring member of the Tremeloes and Chesney Hawkes band. \nDomestic Bliss (Chris and Helen to their friends) are well known on the Weston super Mare music scene where they organise Open Mic nights and acoustic sessions and regularly perform in various guises be it solo\, duo or full band! \nScarlett Davidson recently completed 3 gigs\, 3 venues\, 3 days including the Weston super Mare Sea Shanty and Folk Festival. See Scarlett now before she blows up and takes off! \nSimon Perigud has 30 years experience in the music industry. He plays rock pop country Irish folk Rat Pack and Golden Oldies and will be performing some of his own songs for The Front Room audience. \nDon’t miss it!
