A simple\, powerful moving meditation that anyone – of any age\, size\, or physical ability – can practise. Lightly guided\, there are no steps to follow\, no choreography to learn\, no way to do it wrong. The only requirement is a body that is still breathing\, a heart that is still beating\, and mind that is still curious! \nCreated by Gabrielle Roth and practiced by tens of thousands worldwide\, 5Rhythms is a philosophy\, perspective\, performance art and a dynamic movement practice rooted in the principle that if you put the psyche in motion it will heal itself. Movement is both the medicine and the metaphor\, reaching across all languages\, cultures and age groups to transform suffering into art\, art into awareness\, and awareness into action. DESCRIPTION:We are singing every Friday at Front Room.\n\nCome along and join us for our Sing and Smile session – a friendly\, informal sing-a-long\, which brings local people together through music\, laughter and connection.\nThese sessions are all about enjoying music together and sharing a joyful hour in good company. SUMMARY:Doggie Life Drawing!
DESCRIPTION:Life drawing with a difference… furry and fluffy models who love nothing more than a good scratch and tasty treat! \nIf you love drawing and dogs this may be your idea evening. The evening is self-directed by artist Tracy Wride – she will introduce the dogs and host the event. You can choose the dog you want to draw and you can move around so everyone gets to draw each dog. Some will sleep\, some will up be for introducing themselves. The fun for the artists is capturing each dog’s personality. \nExpect to meet a variety of models\, each with their own unique shape\, size and personality! Each class will showcase a multitude\nof hairy beasts\, all with a welcoming wag and wet nose. There is a break midway through so you can grab a drink and have a stretch. Meet the\ndogs and their parents\, have a selfie with the models or a cuddle. Share your work at the end of the event if you like. \nThis is open to all skill levels and all materials are provided.
