A simple\, powerful moving meditation that anyone – of any age\, size\, or physical ability – can practise. Lightly guided\, there are no steps to follow\, no choreography to learn\, no way to do it wrong. The only requirement is a body that is still breathing\, a heart that is still beating\, and mind that is still curious! \nCreated by Gabrielle Roth and practiced by tens of thousands worldwide\, 5Rhythms is a philosophy\, perspective\, performance art and a dynamic movement practice rooted in the principle that if you put the psyche in motion it will heal itself. Movement is both the medicine and the metaphor\, reaching across all languages\, cultures and age groups to transform suffering into art\, art into awareness\, and awareness into action. DESCRIPTION:Front Room is thrilled to be performing our much loved in-house family show at the magical Old Town Quarry in Weston-super-Mare. \nYara is wild and free\, but there’s more to these woods than the trees… An endearing tale of growing up\, getting wiser and making unexpected friends. \nYara lives wild in the woods. She doesn’t need anyone else. But there’s something out there\, prowling in the shadows and howling at the moon. And if that wasn’t enough\, finding food and keeping warm is getting harder every day. Yara must face up to new challenges\, and maybe even the prospect of looking after more than just herself… \nThis is a tale of friendship and adventure for all the family\, featuring captivating puppetry\, exquisite non-verbal storytelling\, and spellbinding original music. Come into the woods and explore your wild side with Yara! \nThere will also be a free interactive workshop before the performance that all audience members are welcome to attend.
